Pick up from your hotels in for the transfer to the Nile Cruise Luxor Aswan departure point. Drive to Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III from Nubian sandstone. Continue to the Karnak Temple, said to be the 2nd most visited site in Egypt after the Pyramids of Giza. The miraculous temple was dedicated to the sacred triad of the ancient gods of Thebes, Amon, Mut, and Khonsu. Transfer back to your Nile cruise for the night.
Sail overnight to Kom Ombo.
After breakfast, leave the cruise to start your guided tour of the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god, and considered the best preserved of all Egypt’s temples, the dramatic temple dates from the reign of Cleopatra VII and was built of sandstone between 237 BCE and 57 BCE.
Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Horus
‘so’ Return to the cruise boat and sail overnight to Aswan.
